Ive been building a hydroponic system for my mom for Mothers day and ive been reading alot about people using submersible pumps but they say they get clogged, so i saw there are bags for pumps but they are mostly for ponds with big debris. Not for the small bits in organic hydroponic nutrients. I also make compost tea for my garden and put it in a backpack sprayer and sometimes the nozzle gets clogged because of tiny bits that build up. So i was thinking why dont we just filter tea through a bag like this:

or even smaller

So before you put compost in a sprayer you put it through a filter bag then dilute it with water, and the same with hydroponic nutrients, you could put it through a bag and then add water to get it to the right dilution. Does this make sense or by doing this would you be robbing some microscopic critter the plants need. I want to say were robbing microbes or enzymes but i would be talking out of my rear because i dont know what the little fellas and essential parts are called.
If you think this would work or not work id like to know & how come other gardeners dont do it? Ive never seen it brought up stated as solution or preemptive to clogged sprayers/pumps in gardening guides or how-tos.
