Integer math problem – see details. Sample question from WA mandatory HS math test – would you graduate?

Professor Nonsense has a theory about how flowers grow. He believes that every night bugs tug at flowers to get them to grow and then open them carefully just before sunrise. He says that the dewdrops on flowers are actually drops of bug sweat. The professor tells about a small county in which dragonflies each open 6 roses, 4 daisies, and 6 daffodils per night; ladybugs each open 1 petunia, 2 pansies, and 1 tulip; moths each open 3 chrysanthemums and 5 violets; and bees each open 17 tiger lilies and 3 iris. Dragonflies deposit 10 sweat drops on each flower they open; ladybugs leave 5 drops, moths deposit 40 drops, and bees leave 15 drops. One morning last summer the professor counted 74,360 sweat drops on the flowers. He noticed four times as many 10-drop flowers as 5-drop flowers, and 3 times as many 15-drop flowers as 40-drop flowers. How many of each kind of insect had been working on the flowers the night before?
The web site I found this on gave the following answer, which I think is definitely wrong:
715 ladybugs; 1430 dragonflies; 2860 moths; 1287 bees

do you know anything about growing daisies?

I bought some Daisies(I don’t know what type; the label was in German) and repotted them, but they don’t seem doing very well. They’re in sunlight for several hours each day(mostly morning sun) and I keep them moist. They finished blooming a month ago, so I didn’t know if I needed to trim them back, even though I plucked all the dead flowers off after they wilted. Any help would be wonderful! Thanks! :)

My daisies have come back colorless??? Why?

3 plants were pink and yellow, huge bushes. I dead headed them and the flowers have all grown back white? How come? Can I get them back to original color?

Is there Poison Ivy in my garden or is it something else?

I recently started 2 gardens, one in my backyard(tomatoes, broccoli rabe, lettuce) and one around a tree in front of house with flowers(marigolds, coleus, petunias, daisies). Before starting each garden I dug up & weeded the ENTIRE erea until nothing was left but dirt, which I then raked up and added miracle-gro soil to the top (went through 3 HUGE BAGS),then I transplanted my flowers & vegetables.A few days ago I noticed a small plant growing near the tomatoes which reminded me of a pic of a marijuana leaf I had said in high school but it was green & red, three leaves, pointy jagged edges, kinda cool looking so I watered it & it is getting bigger, then I noticed the same small plant now growing in my flower garden in fron of house. IS this poison ivy or could it be some wildflower? It looks pretty cool, I thought maybe it sprouted from seeds I had planted last year but now I’m wondering should I pull them up,does it sound like poison?Dark maroon & green-3 leaves, points on top-jagged edges

I recently moved into a new home. The woman who previously owned it had a green thumb. But what do I do now?

I have daisies, tall grasses, other flowers that I do not know, and many flowering and berry-producing shrubs. Do I clean all the dead matter from these plants? I know that with hydrangeas that you’re not supposed to and I have several of those.
