Is there Poison Ivy in my garden or is it something else?

I recently started 2 gardens, one in my backyard(tomatoes,broccoli rabe, lettuce) and one around a tree in front of house with flowers(marigolds, coleus, petunias, daisies).Before starting each garden I dug up & weeded the ENTIRE erea until nothing was left but dirt,which I then raked up and added miracle-gro soil to the top (went through 3 HUGE BAGS),then I transplanted my flowers & vegetables.A few days ago I noticed a small plant growing near the tomatoes which reminded me of a pic of a marijuana leaf I had said in high school but it was green & red, three leaves, pointy jagged edges, kinda cool looking so I watered it & it is getting bigger, then I noticed the same small plant now growing in my flower garden in fron of house. IS this poison ivy or could it be some wildflower?It looks pretty cool, I thought maybe it sprouted from seeds I had planted last year but now I’m wondering should I pull them up,does it sound like poison?Dark maroon & green-3 leaves,points on top-jagged edges

Is it to late to grow plants from seeds in my area?

I live in Western Tennessee. I’d like to grow a vegetable garden and maybe some flowers. Is it to late?

Does any one know a garden center, nursey, or other place that has alot of different seeds, in Greenwood IN?

I’m starting a garden and I wanted some strawberries seeds or a little strawberry plant. My garden will have flowers and vegtables in it. I have enough flower seeds, but I want vegtables seeds too. I know that I want to grow strawberries, blue berries, lettace, tomatoes, and other vegtables. I also wanted some other vegtable plants.

What is the significance of mass/prayer cards and a crucifix found buried in a yard/garden?

My husband and I recently moved into a new house and have started doing some gardening now that the weather has turned warm. Twice now, he has encountered Catholic iconic items buried in areas where we have dug to put in vegetables or flowers (mass/prayer cards w/ the Virgin Mother) and this weekend, he discovered a crucifix buried in the roots of a rosebush he was trying to move. We’re both Protestant, although I did attend a Catholic highschool, and we are puzzled by the finds. I’m familiar with the tradition of burying a statue of St. Joseph when you are trying to sell a house, but can anyone enlighten me on the burial of the prayer cards and the crucifix? We haven’t found animal remains that might suggest the burial of a pet – just the artifacts.

When to switch the nutrients from vegging to flowering/fruiting on Hydroponic Tomato’s?

Hello, I’m growing tomoto’s in hydro for my first time. I have 4 tomato plants, One is about 4 ft tall and the other 3 are about 2 ft tall. The big one has started giving a few flower and it’s looking really nice. My problem is I’m not sure when to switch the nutrients to flowering phase. Should I do it when I first start seeing a few flowers or should I wait til all the flowers are open and ready to be pollinated. Any information would really be appreciated. Next is cucumbers, herbs and peppers.

My tomato won’t blossom or fruit.?

The tomato was grown in a hydroponic garden until it became too large, then I transplanted it to a bucket with potting soil in it. The plant has since only created new leaves and shoots but no flowers and, hence, no tomatoes. I use a Miracle Grow tomato food (N-P-K of 18-18-21), and the plant is in a south-facing window. Why won’t the tomato blossom? Thanks.

Chimney located besides Auschwitz’s alleged Gas Chamber, when was it built?

On the right side is located the hospital and kitchen for those running the camp. At the opposite end is a sport area and an area for growing vegetables and flowers. Facing forward is Commandant Rudolf Hoess’ house. The chimney is about 8meters high and clearly visible for all.

A beginner garden?

My 7 year old daughter wants to start a garden. I have no idea what to plant. I am looking at building something that has 4-6 2′ sections; allowing 3′ between each square to work them. I live in north-western Illinois. What would be some good vegetables for beginners? Do I want to mix flowers with vegetables? Any good websites for me to check out without being too in depth?
