The grandmother of an old friend of mine passed away. My friend and I were very close growing up. And I was close with the family. We haven’t kept in touch very well over the years. And the last time we talked was probably a year or so ago. I plan to send flowers, but I am wondering if I should do more. But I haven’t a clue what. I’m not good at these things. And I usually avoid them. But I feel I should go. Is there something I should do, send, bring??

We have had an adenium plant for 7 years now, and its an indoor plant kept in a balcony. over the years it has grown really tall and it looks more like a palm tree… but it flowers well. I want to know if it ll grow bushy if i pruned some of its branches that are growing skyward.. or if that ll kill the plant. also can anybody tell me how to propagate it using cuttings ?
thanks.

my favorite flowers are roses that ‘s what my mother always planted were I grew up.
Southern Michigan
I have already planted a few and they have huge leaves for over 3 months but I have yet to see any flowers. I was told that within this time frame, it would already have bear fruit. I have constantly water and feed them.

I only have about a 3-5inch gap of dirt to use before my fence. My neigbor has his yard full of grass on the other side. I was wanting to plant something there that would grow enough to give privacy. Its ok if some grow on his side too. I want to plant it on my side though. I was wanting to plant them about 10 feet across. Hopefully something cheap! Maybe buy it bulk and baby size is ok as long as its a medium growth rate. Nothing with flowers cause I don’t want bee’s. Any ideas?

Help! I am trying to get complete answer on what would be the best flowers and green plants to plant in partial to full shade that are midsize in height and (Here is the hard part) will do well under pine trees. (Something about the soil around them) I live in WV, so if annuals (which I prefer) they would have to be for my grow zone. Please help, I have searched and quized local gardeners, but I get different answers every single time.

More than flowers
Takes more than flowers to make me happy,
Perhaps that’s a little sad,
I’m not sure,
But deep down I know that I need more.
Flowers in the half day light when the colour dies away
And flowers in the summertime,
All as beautiful as if they
Were made from happiness itself
And grown from love
And taken care of from our perfect god above.
Yes indeed they are a gift and grateful though I am,
When I’m presented a rose for your love,
A flower just isn’t enough.
My man…
Now each day though it’s still sometimes a bore,
You realise you don’t need anything more,
Cause life with him could never be dull even on the darkest of December nights,
He can still light up the fire that’s your life.
And when you hate the fact that he’s not there,
You want him alone,
You don’t want to share,
Suddenly you see you need not care,
Cause of course you know he’ll always be there
