Tomato plant stunted growth?

I’m growing tomato’s and they are doing great, but they are only 11″ and they are starting to flower, so I have been picking off the flowers so the plant concentrates on growing. I don’t know if the plants are determinate or inditerminate, how long can I pick off the buds, I’ve done it about 3 times already. When I pick off the buds, they aren’t flowers, I don’t let the plant flower at all. Thanks for the help! I should also mention these are potted plants, in 12″ pots, so I know they won’t get too big, but what is expected hight? I’ve fertalized accordingly. NPK is fine

Which type of plants grow best in Terrarium containers?

I am trying to grow terrariums in different types of bottles( 1 gallon wiskey bottle) 6 gallon carboy etc) I’m looking for different types of plants that would grow in these containers, and would reallyt like varieties that have flowers, but evergreens will be good also. Thanks, I know already that Baby’s Tears fair well in this type of situation.

How do I make my orchids bloom?

They are indoors, but I live in Florida. I have had them a long time, and they were in bloom when I got them and they haven’t bloomed since. They grow new shoots often, but no flowers. I usually kill plants, so I give them credit for surviving. They are dendrobiums, I think. They are growing in wood chunks and moss.

Herbs, Fruit and Veg Help!?

I have quite a big garden. Anyway, yesterday, i was wondering round picking of the dead heads of the flowers. I then found a little mint and chives herb plants. I realized that there was lots of space with good soil and plenty of sunlight there to grow herbs, fruit and veg. So now i really want to grow them. The only problem is that i don’t know what time of year to grow them and weather they will survive in the winter. I think herbs will last all year round but i am not sure. Lemon grass, Basil, Sage, Thyme, Coriander, Mint, Chives, Oregano, Tarragon and Parsley are all the herbs i can think of. Do you know anymore and if theses ones will last in the winter? Potatoes, Sweet potatoes, Carrots, and Spring onions are all the veg i can think of. Do you know anymore that are easy to grow and again if the will survive? Thank you. And remember to suggest things that are EASY to grow. Cheers.

I always water the “Crown of Thowrns”plant every 2 week’s, it needs lots of water, but it stopped producing flowers, does anyone know how I can make it flower again?It was so pretty, and still is , even though it stays just green, but it was much prettier when it had red flowers- I ‘ve tried different windows, but it won’t get no red flowers????????
