I have a small herb garden with mint, rosemary, oregano, parsley and basil. I also have some grape tomato plants in there. Most of them grows very well, only the basil is giving me headache. Since last week, I found that the leaves are being attacked by something. The leaves look terrible and their edge has been chewed. I thought it may be caused by worms, but I can’t see any. Then I found that the parsley leaves are also being attacked, but they are not so badly damaged as the basil. My husband thinks it might be the wild bunnies, so he put up some nets around the garden. But this morning, I found some more chewed basil leaves and parsley. What is eating my basil and parsley??? Does somebody have a clue?
Thank you, Brigitte! I went to the garden a couple nights ago to check whether it is really slugs. Bingo! You are right. I clean up the garden to keep it tidy, and I’ve also bought some organic and environmental safe pellets to kill the slugs. Hope it works!
Thank you for your answer.
