Regrettably, I’m not in a position to fly to Germany to experience it at this time, yet I need to do some research for a story that includes a girl growing up in Germany. To be accurate, the girl lived in a modest house – her father was considerably successful – that was embedded in an apple orchard. She grew up there until she was about five.
So what is Germany like growing up? Like, in terms of the neighborhoods, the pastimes (like sports), what the seasons are like, the people, the schools. Anything will be helpful, including how this may be observed and taken in as a young child in Germany.
>>Personal experiences would be helpful as well.
( If you know anything about autism in Germany, that would be extremely helpful as well —> http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090221160824AAbK0gL )
Thank you and sorry for abusing the word “helpful”. Ha-ha.
