I am completely stumped about how to solve this problem.
A landscape architect plans to enclose a 3000 square foot rectangular region in a botanical garden. She will use shrubs costing $25 per foot along three sides and fencing costing $20 per foot long the fourth side. Find the dimensions to minimize the total cost of fencing.

Need help with a word problem?
The profit function for the Haggard Apple Orchard’s out-of-state sales is P(x) = -x^2 + 276 – 11,454, where x is the number of pounds of apples in hundreds and P(x) is the profit in dollars. How many pounds should be sold out of state to produce a maximum profit, and what is that profit?
For this one I got- 1,350 pound should be sold, and the maximum profit is $11,271.75
